John Stewart

John Stewart oversees Wireless Generation's research and data analysis efforts in support of the company's product development, professional development, and consulting groups.

At Wireless Generation, Stewart previously managed the infrastructure and IT operations groups, and before that, the software development group that designed and built the company’s handheld assessment platform.

Prior to joining Wireless Generation, Stewart co-founded Tall Software, a New York-based developer of Web applications for American and European corporate clients. At Tall Software, he was responsible for all aspects of software architecture, focusing on issues of performance and scalability. Previously, he was the technical director at Sunshine Digital; a programmer at Downtown Digital, an AT&T subsidiary that produced entertainment software for the Web; and a programmer at Business Logic, a developer of trader support tools and accounting software for the financial industry.

John holds a BA from Yale and a Master's degree in Linguistics from the CUNY Graduate Center.
